Ok Here is a picture of my PsychoKart.... It's powered with a Suzuki GS-750 (750CC) 4-cyl air cooled engine. I made the frame and everything from scratch.

Hello,
Thats a pretty cool motorhead project but here's the "Rocket Scientist" version! I'm almost afraid to try this one. It'd most likely piss the local cop off to get out ran by one of these! I would get into sooooo much trouble with one of these!

Thanks

You're a madman.
If I had one of those, you wouldn't be reading this... because I'd be six feet under somewhere, or at least on life support.
Why such a small engine? Hell, you still have room behind the seat for a few more cylinders. |

I'm starting to think about what PsychoKart Version 2 is going to be like... I might go with Twin 4-cyl engines in back with an independant axle. Maybe twin GSXR1000 fuel injected engines (180hp each).. 360HP together... So that would be around 360HP in a 500LB car.. That could be fun

If you're going through all that, you ought to go ahead and put props and wings on it. Now THAT would be a blast.
If you had a bad day, you might still be six feet under, but it would save your survivors the hassle of digging a hole. |

The more wild and crazy a project is, the more exciting and rewarding it is for me to build... If there was an air strip in my back yard, I'd definitely be building and flying my own ultra-lights and small experimental aircraft.. Unfortunatly, I'm currently limited to safe and simple ground level projects

Don't let that stop you.
A small helicopter or Harrier would be pretty exotic. |
